The Les Margaret STEM Awards invite women and young girls who are making a difference in the tech industry to propose their ideas and compete for prizes in six categories.
Every year, the Les Margaret Awards recognize European, African, and Canadian female entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs whose ideas and innovations address key societal concerns.
The Les Margaret Awards seek to address gender disparity in technology. You share our strong principles of advancement and inclusivity. As a Margaret, applicants will serve as a conduit for these messages, conveying them to the community, network, and media whenever possible.
The application must be submitted solely by a woman who is the founder or co-founder of an innovative company, for the “Entrepreneur” category, an employee of a company who has developed a project in agreement with her employer while remaining an employee, for the “Intrapreneur” category, or a young girl aged 7 to 18 for the “Junior” category.

Value and Duration of the Award: €1 million
The winners will get one year of JFD’s growth acceleration programme, which is run in partnership with its partners.
JFD incorporates les Margaret Award winners into its communications plan and provides them with €1 million in media exposure over a year.

Applicants for the Les Margaret Awards must be:
A female founder or co-founder of a tech business in the “Entrepreneur” category.
Have established an innovative initiative in collaboration with your employer while staying an employee for the “Intrapreneur” category.
A young woman under the age of 18 with a project that demonstrates your creative, imaginative, and entrepreneurial attitude for the “Junior” category.
Your initiative, whether you are a citizen of Europe, Africa, or Canada, is innovative and addresses societal challenges.
