The Dartmouth College King Scholarship recruits low-income students from developing nations who are interested in eradicating poverty in their native countries.

Value and duration of the award: Full Scholarships at Dartmouth: King Scholars attend Dartmouth for four years at no expense to students or families. This includes
Tuition, housing, health insurance, a new computer for the first year, and annual travel between Dartmouth and home country are included.
King Scholars get pre-orientation support and mentoring services to assist with the transition to college, as well as continued academic mentorship during their Dartmouth career.
All King Scholars participate in the First Year Student Enrichment Program, an intensive experience that prepares students to address many of the problems that will arise throughout their first year.
They are also members of a supportive and close-knit community of fellow Scholars and students.
